The Spot Pal Basic is made for those who have all of their upper front adult teeth or for a child who has not yet lost their upper “baby” teeth. This design covers the upper front 6 teeth only and is comfortable to wear anytime day or night especially while working to train the tongue.  

Spot Pal Basic, like all our Spot Pal variations, supports proper tongue resting posture and proper tongue strength to combat problems such as tongue thrust, mouth breathing, snoring, poor sleep, sucking habits, and improper tongue resting posture. Spot Pal Basic has the Spot Dot and Tongue Poke features, which act as tactile cues to support teaching the tongue to rest up in the roof of the mouth, and off the teeth, as well as supports proper tongue placement for the /t/, /d/, /l/, /n/, /s/, and /z/sounds. 

Spot Pal Basic comes with tongue strengthening exercises via video modules and tongue placement drills for expressive speech sounds. 

Spot Pal Basic is typically worn up to 2 hours+ per day or as desired
